I really like your approach here, but I think we've got a very serious problem going on with Trump's administration that will prevent any work on this. It would probably be better to address it to state and local leaders for the time being.

As optimistic as this is, there's a reason the "wellness" industry is roughly four times as large as the pharmaceutical industry (~6.3T$USD v 1.6). It's much easier to sell people unregulated supplements and spread fear about tightly regulated foods and drugs than legitimate solutions. Europeans can't be healthier because they walk more and drive less (rural European rates overlap with American ones), it's got to be because of the [insert boogeyman of choice here]!

I like all of this, but we can’t ignore the elephant in the room that a lot of this we had, but some of these same folks want to not support it because of their isms or they support it, but only in segregation. I can’t help but not see that sprawl will continue, because of that desire for segregation. It has to be said, even to the most blatantly hateful administration we’ve had in the modern era.
